Writing is hard.
But that doesn’t mean you can’t improve. And the best way to improve is to practice.
I have written before about improving my writing. I genuinely believe that it is one of the best skills you can have.
With that in mind, and after reading from so many people that writing often is the only way to improve, I’ve decided to commit to 30 days of writing every day.
What am I going to write about?
That is a great question. There is going to be no structure to this writing. It won’t follow a particular theme. But in order to generate ideas I’m going to use the following four questions:
- What is one thing I learned today?
- What is one interesting thought I had?
- What is something someone taught me?
- What did my wife and I have a laugh about?
Then I’m going to sit for 25 minutes (one Pomodoro) write and publish. That isn’t a long time so the posts will be short. That is kind of the point. Write often to build a habit. Improve from there.
Let’s see how this goes.
